PUBLIC INQUIRY INFORMATION
The Public Inquiry to determine proposed price increases for The Sandbanks Ferry takes place at 10am at the Poole Harbour Commissioners Terminal North Lounge on on Tuesday 21st, Wednesday 22nd, Thursday 23rd, Friday 24th, Tuesday 28th and Wednesday 29th January 2025.
An evening session will be held on Wednesday 22nd January 2025 at 6:30pm in the Springfield Country Hotel in Wareham.

SERVICE
The service runs daily (see timetable), weather and other circumstances permitting, except for times when the vessel is undergoing refit (every two years, usually around October/November).
Carrying pedestrians, pedal or motor cycles, cars and light vans, goods vehicles / camper vans, buses and coaches. For REDUCED PRICES, please see the discount page – for day rates please see tolls page.
The Ferry does not operate a pre-booking system.
BRAMBLE BUSH BAY
The present ferry, “Bramble Bush Bay”, came into service in January 1994, it is the fourth ferry to operate this service since the Bournemouth-Swanage Motor Road and Ferry Company came into being in July 1923 following an Act of Parliament.
The ferry, 242 feet in length, has a nominal capacity of 48 cars.
